London Enterprise Academy is a small, more personal school with no more than 120 pupils in each year group. Students are grouped in smaller class sizes. This means teachers will get to know every pupil as an individual and be able to closely nurture and challenge them all. We have a longer school day, a wide range of extra-curricular activities and a more personalised curriculum for our students.
Our curriculum focuses on every student mastering the most important subjects and skills, particularly English, Maths and Science. We aim to encourage our students to become “learners for life” by embedding enterprise skills throughout the curriculum. We embrace technological advancement and innovation to ensure our students have the latest facilities available to make learning exciting, engaging and fun.
With smaller classes, your child will receive more personal attention and be less likely to be overwhelmed by the transition to secondary school. We work with professionals and entrepreneurs to provide mentoring to our pupils from a young age to inspire them to become the leaders of tomorrow. We demand high standards from our pupils and staff, with a ‘no excuses’ approach to work and discipline.
Our vision is to establish an outstanding school that will ensure students achieve personal success in their school life and beyond. We believe success at school provides a strong foundation for students to become engaged citizens who believe in themselves and can bring about positive change, for themselves and the society they live in.
Our school’s ethos will support this vision by creating a school that is sympathetic to the social background of the students given the Tower Hamlets location and pro-active with respect to the unique opportunities this dynamic and well situated borough affords.
Central to our school’s ethos is a student-centric and individualised learning approach designed to achieve personal success for each and every student, regardless of where their abilities lie. Our curriculum is designed to equip our students as engaged citizens who will have the right skills to be active participants in modern British society.
The school gives parents additional choice in their quest for a school providing an outstanding education, focussed on excellence in academic achievement and in an environment that nurtures their child to develop a strong sense of social, moral, spiritual and cultural development without having to pay.
We all want our children to live in a safe and loving environment so that they can grow up to become happy, confident adults. You will already know that your children can be vulnerable to risks both inside and outside the home, and will have taken steps to protect them so they can grow, learn and develop to their fullest potential.
The regulations state that to meet the standard for the SMSC development of pupils, the proprietor of the independent school, academy or free school must Actively promote the fundamental British values: democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of those with difference faiths and beliefs.
We have a fully vetted and monitored extra- curricular activities programme. All activities are monitored for neutrality. We offer major religious groups the opportunity to practice in accordance with their faith. There are Muslim prayers every day of the week for both boys and girls. All sessions are supervised by a Muslim member of staff. LG members monitor the prayers for content, attendance and safety.
London Enterprise Academy is a fully inclusive school. We offer accessibility and support to children with a wide range of needs and have adapted resources to support them. We review our practices regularly to make sure all students are fully included in the lesson. Students are mindful of others’ needs and aware of how they should adapt their own behaviour to support them.
Our school core values are leadership, enterprise, ambition, drive, excellence and respect. It is our vision that the curriculum with all its enrichment opportunities will give our students the chance to develop these qualities. Many of the enrichment opportunities will give the students insight into a range of skills and subjects so that they can grow their experiences and discover new talents. Many of the subjects can be offered as a certificate or qualification (or lead to a wider choice of GCSE’s in the future) and will be an enhancement to any CV.
Fundamentally, we want our pupils to become confident, creative and critical problem-solving citizens with broad experiences that not only enhance their GCSE achievements but also give them the skills needed for the 21st Century workplace and to embrace “Learning for life”.

London Enterprise Academy is a great school with outstanding teachers. They have amazing sports facilities. The principal Mr Ali is a very friendly, just principal who cares for every student. There are many rewards for children who do exceptionally well in school such as trips to Barcelona, trampoline parks, theme parks, madame Tussaud etc. They have many educational trips as well including trips to museums, trips to meet famous people. A group of children even met British astronaut Tim Peak.
