North Primary School

Here at North Primary School, we offer our students a comprehensive learning environment, filled with a variety of support and services. Ever since we got our start in 1851, North Primary School has been instilling knowledge in students from the Southall area and beyond. Our team members will go the extra mile to give our students the tools needed to grow and succeed.

Our aim is to create a program that engages and interests every single student. We strive to make learning fascinating by helping students accomplish challenges and exceed their goals in a caring and supportive environment. One of our ways of enriching the educational experience at our School is by staying involved with the Southall community.

North Primary's EYFS is a bright and exciting environment, with a beautifully designed outdoor area. The children are taught the EYFS curriculum and their phonics through letters and sounds. They learn to love books from the induction day, when they are given a copy of their first 'Power of Reading' book.

Year 1 is housed in the oldest part of the school. It too has an outdoor area, soon to be refurbished. Year one are taught the National Curriculum and phonics through Letters and Sounds. They use Mathematics Mastery to teach mathematics and learn about language through the Power of Reading.

The transformative learning experiences at North Primary School are designed to help our students grow both in and out of the classroom. Each day is filled with opportunities to experience new educational, social, and emotional situations. Our teachers create a safe and open setting where they can help guide students in exploring the information and the world around them.

We follow a high academic standard as a guide for the creativity and leadership of our teachers. Our objectives are not set in stone, with occasional revisions developed in response to the latest research on educational innovations and theories. Our Key Stage two year results are improving and we predict this cohort will achieve really well.

At North we use the PE and Sports Premium to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport that we offer.

• Building capacity and capability within the school to ensure that improvements made now will benefit pupils joining the school in future years
