Dalmeny Primary is a small non-denominational school set in the heart of the village of Dalmeny. Our school roll is 106 pupils and we have the capacity for 30 children in the nursery. We have 4 composite classes and our nursery is set in our extensive school grounds, complete with our own trim trail. We also have access to Cockhill Woods where all children participate in regular outdoor learning lessons.
At Dalmeny Primary School we aim to provide an environment in which everyone can reach their full potential, feeling happy, confident and valued. We aim to give our children the opportunity to develop the skills and gain the knowledge necessary for life in our modern society by providing a secure, caring yet challenging environment in partnership with the home. Our vision is based on our values: Wisdom, Compassion, Integrity and Justice.
The nursery staff are in the process of setting up a Nursery Teams to support you with home learning during the lockdown period. Activities will be added each week. If you have tried any activity that has worked well, we would appreciate it if you could share with the rest of the nursery group so other families can try it out. Teams will also be a way for you to communicate with the nursery staff who will answer any queries you might have. Let us know if you have any problems signing on to Teams and we will do our best to help you.
