Our school was founded on the belief that education must nurture, encourage and celebrate children as individuals. At Radnor House today you will find a dynamic mix of high academic standards, exceptional pastoral care and expansive opportunities for pupils, all housed within an innovative and hugely successful environment. Our boys and girls are happy, accomplished and driven, and Radnor House is fast becoming one of the most dynamic and exciting schools in the area.

At each step of the way, we stretch, challenge and engage our pupils through an outstanding curriculum, encouraging them to consider and respond to all of their learning and reflect upon their experiences.Young people need knowledge but they also need more - to develop the habits of mind which will enable them to become adaptive, responsive and caring adults, ready and confident to take their place in society.

Our pupils are empowered to look after themselves physically, emotionally and spiritually.Effective pastoral care systems build resilience and adaptability, supporting and working alongside our young people as they navigate their formative years. The school's core values of ‘Excellence, Courage, Respect and Perseverance’ provide a guiding light and moral compass, helping to shape their decision making and preparing them for some of the very real challenges they will face beyond their school years.

Radnor House is a co-educational selective day school on the banks of the River Thames in Twickenham. The school provides an all through education for boys and girls from ages 9 to 18. We are pleased to welcome families and operate a sibling policy when siblings of existing pupils are offered priority entry to the school.

Entry into Year 5 is available from 2018 onwards. We would advise parents to apply at least one year prior to entry. The entry procedure for Year 5 is via a classroom based assessment morning. One class with approximately 20 places is available to boys and girls following a successful performance in the assessment. The main point of entry in to Radnor House is Year 7 in the Senior School. Approximately 40 additional places are available to external applicants as two additional classes are added in Year 7. Entry to Radnor House is via the 11+ examination process and applicants must apply by the end of November in the year prior to entry. Places are offered subject to successful completion of the entrance procedure. Sixth Form places are also available to external applicants. Candidates are invited to apply in the year before entry and places are offered based on expected grades at GCSE and satisfactory completion of the admissions procedure. Applicants are encouraged to apply in the Autumn term of Year 11.

Radnor House has an exciting Co-curricular programme which represents a significant element of the educational experience, allowing pupils the opportunities to pursue or develop interests beyond the classroom.

Sixth Form life is significantly different to the educational experiences that come before it. It is a two year period where independence, ambition, and planning are the focus and where students make the exciting decisions that will open doors to further education and beyond. The Sixth Form at Radnor House aims to develop academically successful individuals who are confident in their own ability, and confident in making the decisions necessary for entrance into university and the wider world of work.

Beyond excellent learning and dedicated pastoral care, pupils benefit from expansive co-curricular opportunities, becoming genuinely immersed in all aspects of their broader learning. Through meaningful community involvement, an extensive and rich activities programme and a strong charitable focus, a deep sense of community and engagement is fostered. Pupils leave us knowing the importance and value of 'getting stuck in'.

If you are considering sending your child to Radnor House is to go along to an open day, ask challenging questions, and judge for yourself. The school is definitely worth including in your short list, and I am very pleased i chose it for my eldest son.

My son goes to Radnor House. My initial impression about the quality of the teachers has proved correct. My son really enjoys school and has found new motivation to work hard to try and achieve his potential.

A new headmaster has recently taken over at the school. He has a good level of experience having been a headmaster previously for a number of years. I hope (and expect) that the foundations laid by his predecessor will be continued, in particular with the method of recruiting talented teaching professionals.

My experience is our son has been attending the school in year 7 and has so far completed two terms. Previously he was at another school for his primary school years. We are happy now.
