Rudston Primary School is a caring, stimulating and friendly school in which every member of the school  feels safe, are valued and  are treated with respect. This website gives you a snapshop of our school, its curriculum, activities and resources. It also provides information on the roles and responsibilities of the people who work in the school.

Music, art and whole-school performances, science and sport are all highly valued and give our children many opportunities to shine. The Rudston Primary curriculum reflects our children’s interests and enables them to achieve standards of which we are extremely proud. The aim is for our children to move through life with confidence, excellent skills, good friendships and happy memories of primary school.

Parents are always welcome to come and visit Rudston Primary, where they can meet the children and staff and find out more about our school.

At Bright Stars Nursery we recognise that all children are unique individuals who learn and develop at their own pace. We pride ourselves on respecting this uniqueness, to ensure that all our children feel equally valued.

We want our children to be happy and confident, and we provide positive role models which enable children to develop secure and loving relationships, that will be everlasting.

We aim to create an environment in which children are immersed in exciting, challenging and stimulating experiences; and one that fosters an attitude of mind which believes anything is possible.

We work hard as a team to encourage children to become active and independent learners, and support children by providing meaningful opportunities to enhance their learning and development.

We have an excellent partnership with families and encourage our parents and carers to be partners with us. We believe when parents and carers work together with the school, a child will achieve their best. The primary phase of education is one of the most important in a child’s journey and at the centre of their future development. It is a time when we aim to nurture in children a lifelong love of learning. In leading children on this journey we pride ourselves on making the journey fun, exciting, challenging and enjoyable. Our children have achieved exceptionally well and we continue to learn with them the best way forward to ensure they all meet their true potential.
