St. David’s is a beautifully diverse and inclusive family school.  We recognise that each child is unique and has the right to achieve his or her full potential.  As a Catholic Primary School, Christ and the Gospel values are at the heart of all we do.

We have a broad and exciting curriculum, which is delivered by a team of caring and committed professionals.  In our delivery of the curriculum we try to be creative, dynamic and engaging in order to inspire the best in and for our learners.

At St David’s Primary School achievement is as important to us as attainment and we provide our pupils with a very rich and balanced curriculum across all areas. All pupils are encouraged to do and be the best they can be. Pupil voice is very important to us and this session all of our pupils from across the school are part of our St David’s Den’s. To support our Broad General Curriculum, we aim to place ICT at the core of St David’s Primary School, providing a range of technologies, capabilities and the creativity for transformative, lifelong learning. We therefore have a number of classes with 1:1 iPad’s to support learning within the classroom and at home. All classes have access to iPads and various forms of computer technology to motivate, inspire and engage our pupils.

As a school we are fully committed to developing each child’s unique potential within a secure and caring environment. We believe that our children should not only reach their best academically, but also develop a thirst for knowledge and a love of learning. The children of St David’s RC Primary School are happy learners, who work hard to reach the challenges set by their teachers. We are very proud of our family atmosphere and we strive to not only provide the highest quality education, but also help our children become happy, successful and fulfilled individuals.

St David’s School is a diverse and multi-cultural Catholic school who pride ourselves on our friendly, welcoming ethos. The majority of learners are bilingual and we have developed our curriculum to ensure there is a focus on English Language and the literacy skills of our children in order that they access all opportunities throughout their Education and enhance their life choices.
