At Stacey Primary School, we define the Curriculum as all of the learning activities planned by the School in order to promote learning, personal growth, creativity and development. At Stacey Primary, our policy includes not only the formal requirements of the Foundation Phase and National Curriculum underpinned by the Skills Framework but other frameworks and guidance.

We aim to develop the whole child through the implementation of a broad and balanced curriculum which is differentiated to allow and encourage all children to develop at their pace and having been set sufficient challenge. It is also important for us to ensure that as a school our curriculum is progressive, cohesive and continuous.in order to ensure that all children have the opportunity to be successful and to use that success to sustain a motivation to learn throughout their lives.

We want every child to feel safe, happy, respected, cared for and to have a sense of belonging. In a nurturing atmosphere, we build the confidence of each individual so that they thrive and are able to achieve their absolute best in every aspect of a broad and balanced curriculum.

By working closely in partnership with parents, carers and members of the local community, we can ensure your child continues to develop and flourish. Our staff are a dedicated, determined and committed team who are united in their quest for success. Together we can ensure that the exciting challenges ahead will benefit your child. To create numerate and literate pupils who are resilient independent thinkers who are compassionate to the needs of others and not scared to try new things.
