Founded in 1911 Samara State University of Social Sciences and Education has recently celebrated a centenary of its foundation. Being the oldest institution of higher education in Samara today it is a unique integrated institution of compound organisation and one of the largest R&D centres in the Volga region. The Academy proved to be one of the best pedagogical institutes of higher education in Samara.

With about 7,000 students the University offers 90 degree programmes. We realise a complex approach to training specialists, which gives an applicant a multiple-discipline choice of special interest.
