GSIS was founded in 2006 as a coeducational Christian faith-based Day & Boarding school. We have become, in a short period of time, a reference for excellent international education in Korea, providing an aspirational academic programs taught by dedicated, and inspiring teachers through interactive, thought-provoking lessons within our caring community.

The strategic geographical location of the city makes our school an ideal international school for both students and staff from all walks of lives.

We were the first IB world school in Korea, and immensely proud to say that our students are offered places at the most prestigious universities around the world, and our graduating classes go on to enjoy happy lives as global citizens.

The GSIS community prides itself in the diverse background of its faculty and staff. The majority of the teaching faculty hail from North America (70%) and Oceania (9%). The remaining 21% of the faculty hail from all over the globe including Africa, India, Eastern Europe, and South America.
