KFS is a private foreign school, located in Gwangju, South Korea. As the Founding Director and Chief Administrator, it is an honor and privilege to welcome you to KFS! Thank you for stopping by our website.

We have been inspiring academic excellence and building character since 1999 through a rigorous American-style curriculum. We focus on the whole child. Using the Common Core standards to guide instruction, KFS maintains an excellent student to teacher ratio so that each student gets the care and guidance they need to be successful.

At KFS, we are the Cougars and we have Cougar Pride! We encourage our students to be their best self each day, both inside and outside of the classroom. As Cougars, we are lifelong learners who value all people and the contributions they make to our world.

Kwangju Foreign School enjoys a tight-night community that feels like family yet we are able to offer a variety of courses to our students. Our talented and qualified faculty members, in partnership with parents, continually work to keep our programs current with the ever-changing world in which we live.
