Rome International School

Our educational approach, based on the ethos of the International Baccalaureate, places students at the center of the learning process and inspires them to become responsible global citizens. We are the only international school in Rome authorised to offer the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme for students between the ages of 3 and to 11, and the IB Diploma Programme for High School students between the ages of 16 and 18. Our status as a Cambridge International School allows our Middle School students between the ages 11 to 14, to pursue a rich programme of study leading to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education for ages 14 to 16, as validated by Cambridge Assessment.

Our beautiful campus located in north-west Rome is resourced to the highest level and has been purpose-built to meet every learning and teaching requirement. We pride ourselves on the safety of all our children and a happy learning environment is always of utmost importance.

We are very proud of the fact that we are an Eco School, recognised by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) for achievement in sustainable development education and for continuously improving the environmental performance of the school and wider community.

The learning at Rome International School is enriched with a vast number of opportunities such as residential visits and trips to places of local interest. As a proud member of the Globeducate family, we have been able to send students to a range of inter- school events such as the Globeducate Sports Olympics, model United Nations, a music festival and an arts competition to name but a few.
