Villa Grimani International School

Villa Grimani International School was founded in 1998 by a group of parents who wanted to offer their children the opportunity to attend a school providing an excellent education in an open-minded, happy environment, with the daily programme taught in English. Since then the school has continually improved and developed and boasts an ever growing number of students whose future is bright due to receiving an excellent, individualized education in English and Italian.

Villa Grimani International School consists of four departments:

• Early Years, for children aged 1 to 4
• Primary School, for children aged 5 to 10
• Middle School, for students aged 11 to 13

The pupils at Villa Grimani International School are taught all subjects in English, combining both the English and Italian National Curriculums therefore teaching a complete range of subjects.

All our teachers are fully qualified with teaching degrees gained in their home countries and are mother tongue English speakers. All our pupils also study Italian which is taught by experienced mother tongue Italian teachers.

The school is situated in a magnificent ancient villa, dating from the 1400’s. The villa is surrounded by a huge green area, (30.000 square meters), which the children are free to play in and explore everyday.

Villa Grimani has an educational environment which aims to provide the maximum in cultural and pedagogic opportunities, with the intention that pupils become capable of confronting, coping and adapting themselves to new circumstances in real life situations and grasping all opportunities open to them. Not forgetting that developing children need solid cultural and environmental reference points with which to construct their identity.
