Since its founding in 1948, Istituto Aleardo Aleardi has been an innovative centre of education. In 1996, the school continued this tradition with the inauguration of its international section, the International School of Verona. In recognition of the ever changing world within which we live, the whole school strives to prepare students for the world of tomorrow, offering a demanding cross cultural curriculum that opens doors worldwide through international examinations and certifications that culminates in the IB Diploma. We currently serve over 700 students from the ages of 3 – 18 that represent over 20 different nationalities.

Students work in the primary vehicular language of English and develop bilingualism through Italian lessons in recognition of, and appreciation for, the great culture that our city and country has to offer. It is exactly this blend of national and international programs that exposes our students to the best practices in education and gives them the strongest possible bases for their continuing education.
