A Prep to Year 12 School with a proven reputation for providing quality education. We encourage students to succeed academically, personally, spiritually and socially on their journey towards excellence. We value the ideals of respect, tolerance and integrity and take great pride in offering a warm, nurturing and natural environment to provide our students with an exceptional all-round education and love of learning and an informed awareness of the Christian faith.

We believe that for young people to reach potential, we must value the total educational program and the holistic development of students. We provide learning opportunities within the classroom, across the curriculum and beyond the school. Our campus has modern facilities to enhance learning and meet the ever-changing needs of schooling while our highly trained teaching staff work with dedication and a true commitment to the growth of each and every student.

The School was founded in 1994 by an interim committee which had the vision to provide a low fee Christian school striving for excellence in education, for the families of Cranbourne and surrounds. It commenced with 57 students from Prep to Year 6 and in 1996 began Secondary classes. Enrolment now exceeds 800 students from Prep to Year 12.

Casey Grammar School is committed to providing an environment which adheres to and promotes the principles and practice of Australian democracy. There is nothing more important in any society than the education of its children, as the future of the community and country rests in their hands. At our School we believe an effective school begins with dedicated, committed staff who continually encourage students by nurturing their self esteem and educating every child in a holistic way. Within this philosophical framework we engender confidence in students to become motivated to strive for excellence.

We are aware that all students are unique and therefore the curriculum must be suitably flexible to cater for their needs and levels of understanding. The task of this school is to nurture and develop the abilities of its students so that they may live with a true sense of God’s presence in the world. Casey Grammar School aims to provide a learning environment in which the School can support parents and churches in the growth and nurture of students in the Christian faith while also enabling students to experience the freedom to share and express the Christian faith.

The School offers experiences of Christian living through the study of the Bible, corporate prayers and worship of God and fosters the Christian ideals of service to others and commitment to God. Casey Grammar School has a Chaplain who leads and fosters the spiritual development of the school community. The Chaplain contributes to the well being of the school community through her ongoing presence and availability as a member of the Pastoral Care team, providing support to students and staff.

The Chaplain can be contacted at the school at any time. At Casey Grammar School, we aim to foster appropriate relationships between teachers and students, with the teacher as a role model and encourage both teachers and students to initiate positive interactions. We aim to encourage such honesty within the school community that mutual trust, respect, and true discipline can grow and develop, and each individual student be properly known and recognised.

The School aims to provide the students given their abilities and backgrounds, with the opportunity to undertake studies in a broad range of disciplines that promote intellectual challenge, a broadening of horizons, a love of learning and a spirit of enquiry that will enable all students to pursue their aspirations beyond the school as effective citizens. Casey Grammar School aims to promote personal health and fitness through participation in sport and recreational activities and to encourage the effective use of leisure both within and outside the school.

Casey Grammar School aims to form a community in which all the participating bodies – the Churches, the Board, the Council, the Staff, the students, the Parents and Friends are all involved together in creating a harmonious and stimulating atmosphere in which the students can develop a feeling of self-worth, a sincere respect for others and a sense of personal responsibility and commitment to the School and the wider Community. The school takes into account society’s diversity in the care and education of our students. We have a responsibility to safeguard the rights of all children to be treated equitably by adopting an inclusive concept of services and strategies open to all students and families who come to Casey Grammar School.

Casey Grammar School is committed to offering a thorough, sequential and comprehensive curriculum to our students based on the Australian Curriculum. The Australian Curriculum sets out the core knowledge, understandings, skills and general capabilities important for all students as a foundation for their future learning, growth and active participation in our community. It states what all young Australians should learn as they progress through schooling. It is the foundation for high quality teaching to meet the needs of all students and prepare them for life in the 21st Century.
