Mid North Christian College

We are an independent co-educational non-denominational Foundation to Year 12 Christian school located in Port Pirie. Mid North Christian College was founded in 2005 by parents committed to an education that invited young people to see and understand the world through the perspective of God’s truth. At MNCC, we believe that life and learning should be engaging, challenging and authentic.

Our staff work collaboratively to offer a high standard of education and community responsibility within a nurturing and caring environment. We aim to foster curiosity, imagination, collaboration, and creativity while helping students discern assumptions underpinning their knowledge. We help students develop the confidence to critique information through a Biblical worldview and develop valuable life skills and a deep sense of Hope in the Living God.

Mid North Minis offers a welcoming Playgroup for children aged 0–5 and a Ready for School Program for incoming Foundation students, fostering early learning, social connection, and a smooth transition into school life at Mid North Christian College.

The primary years at Mid North Christian College nurture a love of learning through engaging, sequential programs focused on literacy, numeracy, and holistic development, while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a growing understanding of God’s world and His love for all people.

The Secondary Years at Mid North Christian College guide students through meaningful learning experiences that support personal growth, academic achievement, and spiritual development, while building independence, resilience, and a clear sense of purpose for life beyond school.

The Aviation Course is for students who desire to experience aviation first hand. Students may have an emerging interest in aviation or be dedicated ‘plane spotters’ already! The Aviation Course is intended to be both challenging and inspiring where students gain valuable insight into the diverse areas of the aviation industry.

We are committed to helping students who require individual emotional and behavioural support to become their best selves. Our whole College approach to addressing wellbeing, conflict resolution, and bullying behaviour equips students to be resilient and effective communicators. We aim to develop young adults who contribute to their community.
