Palmer Trinity School

Palmer Trinity School is located on almost 60 acres of tranquil, beautiful open space in Palmetto Bay, an area south of downtown Miami. The campus forms part of an environment that promotes the enrichment of the whole person, as reflected in our motto, “Virtus, Humanitas, et Spiritus.” Recognizing the importance of balancing mind, body, and spirit, we aim to foster growth through academic, spiritual, and personal development. Palmer Trinity students are encouraged not only to attain individual success but to use their unique gifts for the service of others. Through an extensive academic program and stimulating extracurricular activities, students are nurtured to develop character, global awareness, and critical thinking.

In addition to providing a strong emphasis on academics, athletics, and spiritual formation, Trinity also helped students bond with each other and with faculty members by the many clubs on campus and trips off campus. The Yearbook (Footprints), Newspaper (Trinity Times), Drama Club, Eat ‘n Wear (the culinary club), Model Club (as in airplane models), Ceramics Club, Modern Dance, Service Club, Student Government, Band, National Honor Society, and other honor societies all helped to enhance skills in those areas and to build lasting friendships. Trips to far-away places like Williamsburg, Washington, DC, and Canada (which combined skiing and practice in speaking French) became highlights of education, fun, and community building. Ventures closer to home, like camping trips to the Peace River and the Keys, left memories of paddling canoes in the Florida wilderness with close friends.

With a grade added each year, Trinity students developed a deep love for their campus, but in a visionary way they were excited in 1991 about the merger. In the last Trinity yearbook, the final two pages show a Trinity campus scene with the word “Good”, and then a scene of what would now become the Palmer Trinity campus, with the words, “Very Good."

Palmer Trinity is an Episcopal school dedicated to promoting academic excellence and inspiring students to lead lives of virtue, humanity, and spirit. Palmer Trinity has a diverse population, and is friendly and welcoming. We provide students with a stimulating and extensive academic program, a wide range of extracurricular activities, and weekly Chapel services, embracing the Episcopal tradition of nurturing individual talents, not only for personal gain, but also in service to others. To foster this development, we have a myriad of community service opportunities to participate in and a nationally recognized global citizenship program.

Our talented faculty and staff serve as role models, advisors, and mentors, impacting our students’ lives, in and out of the classroom, and beyond graduation.
