To that end, we work in partnership with parents, governors, the community and local authority to develop a stimulating, structured and safe environment in which all can develop. At Bedwas Infant School, we aim to provide the very best in planned opportunities for your child to develop in all areas of the curriculum. We endeavour to do this by creating a caring school with a curriculum which encourages the development of lively, enquiring minds through involvement in a variety of relevant and challenging first hand experiences. We aim to develop all pupils’ interests, aptitudes and abilities through collaborative and independent thought.

Each class teacher plans thoroughly to ensure that your child’s education has continuity and progression. Throughout the school, a balance of class teaching, group work and individual tuition is used as appropriate. We also ensure that opportunities for different styles of learning are catered for within our teaching. This arrangement enables teaching staff to cater for the varying educational needs of all our pupils.
