At All Saints' C/W Primary School, we want the very best education for our children and we aim to provide this through creating a caring, happy and positive community in which each child feels valued and safe so that they may fulfil their potential. The well-being of each child is vitally important to us and our purpose is to allow each individual to grow in self-confidence and encourage them to show respect for people and the environment around them within a strong Christian context.
We place great emphasis on developing a strong partnership between home and school, as it is through working together in an atmosphere of mutual respect and support that we can provide what is best for our children, in order to prepare each child for an exciting lifelong journey of discovery and learning.
Our school motto is “Together Everyone Achieves More.” This underpins all we do at All Saints,’ it’s the creation of strong partnerships between pupils, staff, parents, Governors and the Church and wider community that makes All Saints’ a special place to be. The school works under the principles of eighteen core Christian values, each in turn, creating the focus of half a term’s work both in Worship and during class lessons.
All Saints’ has a long tradition of good behaviour and care for one another. Staff work hard to provide a caring environment within a Christian context in which our pupils can flourish. New pupils are welcomed to our school and quickly settle because of our caring environment. We encourage children to develop a range of values, such as compassion, forgiveness and responsibility which pupils use within their everyday life, in and out of school.
Every child is respected and cared for as an individual. Children are encouraged to respect themselves, other children and adults, the school buildings and playground. We encourage our pupils to be well behaved and polite and to treat everyone they meet with respect both in and out of school. Staff are regularly complimented on the very high standard of behaviour by our pupils when they are taken out of school or when visitors come to the school.
