The traditional mode of learning perpetrates memorizing without the student ever grasping the soul of the subject. This results in a situation where lessons taught are never learnt.

At RTU, students are sensitized to a unique learning process which continues to pay dividends throughout their lives. The Rai method demands constant interaction between faculty and students.

Our focus is to develop conceptual understanding via active learning, interactive classes, inculcate habit of self learning, pre-class reading and develop problem solving skills.

Lectures in interactive mode through up-loading study material on university website, persuade students to come prepared, ask concept related pre-planned questions, trigger group discussion, focus on peer teaching(question pairs) and quiz & oral tests.

Our vision is to be one of the preferred providers of quality professional education and imbibe in our students a passion for life-long learning, to expand the horizon of world knowledge, provide instructions, training, research and development in secondary education and higher education.

Objectives:

• To design and deliver high quality training, capacity building and development systems for teachers, teacher educators, teachers in higher and professional education, leadership training including political leaders, administrators and development professional working in education and other system.
• To collaborate with any other universities, research institutions, non-profit organizations, industry associations, professional associations or other organizations to conceptualize, design, exchange programs for students, faculty members and others.
• To disseminate knowledge and develop a public debate on issues of education and allied development fields through series of lectures, seminars, conferences, executive education programmers for students, faculty members and others.
• To initiate and undertake programs for the development and training of faculty, researches and support staff of the university in partnership, collaboration, co-operation, joint venture, strategic or any other form of mutually beneficial relationship with any other institutions of similar vision, mission, strategic architecture and objectives.

• To advance knowledge in the fields of science, technology, management and allied disciplines of scholarship with focus on developing relevant skills, competence and attitude to meet the needs of the society and the industry in the 21st century.
• By bringing about significant improvement in every phase of rural life, by much needed change in methods of production, by influencing the whole outlook of the rural community and rural home, by giving them a new vision and new hope, this university will be able to make great contribution to national welfare.
• To develop innovative programs in emerging disciplines, enduring cutting edge research of social relevance and national interest involving faculty and students in interactive learning and application environment both within and outside the University and make them build world-wide network of knowledge sharing.
