BSDU has been incorporated as a State Private University vide GOR Act No. 3 of 2017 (BSDU Act). It is the first University in the country offering only Skills programs. It offers Skill Certificate, Diploma, Advance Diploma, Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc), Master of Vocation (M.Voc) and Ph.D in various skill areas.
BSDU programs are in compliance with UGC Instructions for Vocational Programs, National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF), AICTE Instruction for Vocational Programs, NSQF RPL (Recognition of Previous Learning) Guidelines, Guidelines of respective Sector Skill Councils (SSC), National Occupational Standards (NOS), Skills Qualification Packs.
The Bhartiya Skill Development University has been incorporated by the State Govt. of Rajasthan in 2016 to pave the way for First Ever Skill University in the country. It is indeed a very bold step initiated by Dr. R K Joshi, the founder Chairperson which has put onerous responsibility on our shoulders to ensure its success. Being different in its model, curriculum and training standards and desire to meet industry expectations has put forth a huge challenge before all of us. Should it be accepted or not is not a dilemma, it is how to implement it. A unique system, Swiss Dual System of Skills Training, environment acceptance and to make it ready for the industry are few of the questions which will be answered soon.
Today, the country is at a cross-road to solve the problems but unemployment, unskilled youth, lack of jobs and reluctance of industry to accept poorly skilled people coupled with poor growth of skilled people has led to an environment which desists skills training. How to overcome this huge challenge is a big question and the answer to these entire ailments lie in proper, genuine Skills Universities in India which focusses on “Quality Training” and not on “Quantity Training”. The education system must change to change India and the Way Forward lies in Skills Universities.
Bhartiya Skill Development University is the first of its kind to play a Steller role in ushering in new era of skills training in India and is a small step in the direction of making Skilled India.

BSDU is spread over an area of 30 acres in Mahindra World City Jaipur. It has state-of-the-art infrastructure having high-end machinery imported from Germany, Austria, Spain and Switzerland. Workshop and training on the equipment under the watchful eyes of knowledgeable and experienced Swiss trainers helps trainees to make a mark in their respective fields. The University will shift from its present campus to a new larger campus where construction is in full swing to establish a World Class Skills Institution.

Excellent University with excellent faculty members, infrastructure and trainers.I think It is best training university of india here all machines are exported from Germany, Switzerland. Indian students need this type of university.Where any students can develop their own skill according to their own personal interest.
