Ponnaiyah Ramajayam College has become PRIST – the visionary dream of this humble servent of education-whose little mission, a decade ago to transform a small college into a big one has gradually unfolded into a glorified tangible reality becoming PRIST. This blossoming of PRIST testifies to countless, sleepless nights of contemplation and planning coursing through my pursuit and progress with sweat and labour. “PRIST is my dream come true”.

PRIST aims at carrying ahead the torch of learning further ahead, with added strength, courseware, qualitative dissemination of knowledge, virtue and morality. In to a state of perfect maturation may it become a brilliant morning star in the firmament of higher education, Research and an unending contribution to man and his society.

PRIST has a Student Activities Centre that provides services and facilities and support programs which enhance the growth of the campus community. it provides the campus community and its guests with a variety of services and venues for social, recreational, culture, and educational pursuits, students are developed and educated through active participation in all we do. as the heart of our operation the student are serving in many leadership positions. They are gaining skills in strategic and policy decision of the student centre as well as leadership, management, problem solving and other critical skills employers seek. The student centre also recognizes its role as the primary provider of many services to the commuting student and emphasizes this role in the delivery of these services to the campus further the student centre acts as a liaison for individuals and organizations visiting the university, and is the primary resource for those interested in holding a meeting, seminar, conference or other event on campus.
