ITM-Vocational University, Gujarat is a part of ITM - Group of Institutions from Mumbai with campuses in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Vishakhapatnam, Warangal, Nagpur & upcoming at Noida and Vadodara.

ITM Vocational University has been approved in March 2014as a Private University by the Govt. of Gujarat. It is India’s first truly Vocational University. The University has integrated General Education Stream and Vocational Education Stream in higher education space. In the process both the stream are developed the programs to assure Employability, Professional Qualification and International recognition.

ITM Vocational University, Vadodara, Gujarat is creating an innovative and inclusive model of Higher Education. ITM is one of the first educational organizations to realize that our real product is the Value Addition we do as perceived by the Employers and Society in general. This fundamental truth has driven our Culture, our Attitude and our Value based Education that we give in all our 23 locations. ITM Vocational University in Vadodara is the essence of what we have learnt in 23 years of providing higher education in India. The result is there to see. We started our first Engineering College in 2008 in Visakhapatnam.

As it is the very first batch naturally we got very low ranked students through the AP State counselling process. Yet in 2012 when they graduated, out of 213 eligible graduates 209 got placed through Campus Placement! This is the “ITM” factor at work. We changed class room pedagogy into Project based learning we brought the latest training equipment to our labs in all fields. We encouraged and funded Hi-Tech companies to collaborate with our students in doing complex projects. The result is 100% placement for which we take great pride. We bring SIEMENS and other large industrial technology companies to ITM Vocational University, Vadodara. We make Engineers and Managers!

ITM Vocational University is creating platforms for employability bridge courses. Creating lifelong learning opportunities and Vocational career paths is key to meet the priorities of the economy of the region. The belt from Vapi to Surat to Vadodara to Sanand to Dholera and Jamnagar will be known for the highest employment and technology production like the Tokyo - Osaka region in Japan or the Schengen - Guangzhou region in China. As such major push is on the employability skills, affordability and acceptability of the training and skill development programs.
