We are a boutique family-oriented school, located in a prime, lush environment, protected from the busy city streets. The Swiss School in Singapore is a generously-designed learning oasis that your children will enjoy exploring. We offer ample space for playing and sports while preparing children for life with a holistic, primary education foundation. As an international school, we welcome and nurture children of any nationality, ethnic background or religion and teach them in German and English or French and English.
Each day our students love to come to school, where they are inspired to achieve their full potential and become positive changemakers in the world.
The Swiss School in Singapore was founded by Marie-Therese and Werner Kaufmann-Sialm and officially opened on 2 May 1967 with 18 children in Kindergarten and ten students in primary classes.
In the same year, the Swiss School received recognition from the Swiss government to become one of the acknowledged Swiss Schools Abroad. The Canton of Zug agreed to support and mentor the Swiss School in Singapore and until now, plays an important and active role in supporting and supervising the pedagogical standard of the Swiss School in Singapore.

Our family is very happy at SSiS. Our daughter looks forward to going to school every morning, and comes home everyday with a smile. The teachers are very approachable; the admin extremely responsive; and going to school actually feels like going to a family gathering. We look forward to our years at SSiS :).

Our children are in P2 and P5 and have been going to the Swiss School for 1 year after our move from Switzerland. We have found the staff very approachable and the teachers helpful and listening. The school is small and feels cosy and familiar, which for primary school kids is so important. It has amazing grounds and the children come home with great memories of monkeys stealing lunch boxes :).
