Our aim is to ensure every young person who attends our school fully develops his/her potential in a caring and supportive environment. We are committed to providing the best possible education, where teaching is of the highest quality and learning is exciting and challenging.

We strive for excellence and expect the highest standards and achievements from our learners in all that they do, and we always look to recognise and celebrate achievements and success.

In return for the commitment of our young people we offer many opportunities and a rich and diverse learning environment which caters for their individual strengths, interests and needs. These include a wide range of informal as well as formal learning activities.

We are an outward looking school, building and maintaining strong links with our community and with parents/carers. We believe that the partnership between home and school is extremely important in ensuring our learners achieve and succeed, and we encourage parents/carers to engage fully with the school for the benefit of our young people.

We prepare our young people to take their place in the world of the future as confident and responsible adults who are skilled and empowered to make real choices in their lives.

This website provides you with a glimpse of the excellence and wide range of opportunities we offer at Connah’s Quay High School. We encourage visits to our school – you don’t have to wait for Open Evenings and Open Days – so that you can see for yourself the exciting opportunities we offer.
