Welcome to BrainyChild Montessori’s website! Being located in the middle of Singapore’s busiest city, Orchard Road, we welcome children coming from all over the world. We provide full and half day programs from Mondays to Fridays.
For children who are already enrolled in their kindergartens, and would like to further excel in their academic performance, they can join us for our weekend programs where we hold classes for English Phonics, Montessori Math and Japanese.
Alternatively, if your child has never been to school, you may introduce school by joining our Mom & Tot program where your child will be able to start preschool with you in class together. If you enrol for our day care facility, be rest assured that we will take the best care of your child.
The Montessori Playgroup program is designed for children age 18 months to 3 years old. It is a drop-off class(parent-unaccompanied). A small class with teacher-student ratio of 1:6, teaching is done according to the individual child’s level. The activities covered in the Playgroup will enhance the child’s cognitive development, social, emotional development and physical development. The curriculum is Montessori-based and it covers the 3 languages (English Phonics, Mandarin and Japanese), Math, Sensorial and Practical Life skills. Apart from these subjects, there are storytelling, gym time, music & movement and fine motor skills activities.
Montessori Workgroup program is carefully designed for children age 3 to 6 years old. It prepares the child for Primary 1 and beyond. Children in the workgroup will achieve confidence and survival, independent, social, interactive skills. The curriculum is Montessori-based and the teacher-student ratio is 1:8. Some teaching is done in a group setting, however for academic subjects like Phonics & Math, teaching is done on an individual level based on the child's level, as we believe that even children of the same age progresses differently (depending on their natural ability and family background).

My daughter had an amazing experience during her time in Brainy Child Montessori. I witnessed her transforming from a shy girl to a confident girl. She first joined when she was 18mo, she used to have this separation anxiety and wary of strangers but now she really enjoys going to school.

Excellent preschool - Dependable, dedicated, creative, warm and very friendly teachers are what really make this school great. I usually do not write reviews, but I believe this place deserves it - I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a Montessori preschool around Orchard Road.
