Hong Kong Ling Liang Church Kindergarten - Causeway Bay

Hong Kong Ling Liang Church Kindergarten is a non-profit making and Christian founded kindergarten under Ling Liang World-Wide Evangelistic Mission. The Hong Kong main school was established at the location of former Ling Liang Primary School in 1972. Our founder, Rev. S. K. Chiu and the Chairman of School Board, Elder M. H. Lau invited Dr. Angela Luk, a senior child educator, to establish Hong Kong Ling Liang Church Kindergarten. Dr.Luk became our founding Principal.

We have been spreading the Christian's spirit, promoting the gospels and extending the spirit of God's love to the earth by, providing love education for children. We emulate Noah, who in accordance to God's direction, built an ark for God’s creation. We also aim to build a life-long learning ark and guide the children to go on board - just like Noah and his family did. Now, our ark is sailing to Kowloon and the New Territories. Our Ma On Shan, Lam Tin, Diamond Hill, Tsuen Wan and West Kowloon branches were established. Together with, the Hong Kong school, we aim at providing quality preschool education for families in different regions in Hong Kong.

This ark will continue to sail and provide "spirit" and "food" during their three years of preschool education for children who come from different places. We aim at providing a joyful childhood with beautiful memories. Ling Liang graduates leave us with joyful memories and we believe that all the new comers will do the same.

We believe that every child is an individual with great potential. We strongly believe that children who grow up in a loving environment will live with happiness, optimism, courage, confidence and a positive outlook on life. We firmly believe that high-quality education is education with love, which is Christian education with the Bible as its basis.

Our curriculum is designed to correspond to the characteristics of local children, so that their right of decision-making is respected, while their curiosity and developmental stages can also be taken care of. We are committed to creating a well-regulated and inspirational learning environment that encourages children to speak up and voice out their opinions. Since one of our aims is to integrate learning into the everyday life of children, various organized, systematic and clearly-labelled teaching corners are created to stimulate children’s interest, motivation, participation and thinking. With our curriculum, children can develop to be an active and enthusiastic learner who is willing to try out new ideas, accept challenges, explore various learning processes, develop their potential and broaden their horizons. With these qualities, children can construct their knowledge progressively, strengthen their learning capabilities and develop an appropriate learning attitude, so that the foundation for life-long learning can be fostered.
