Bachelor of Actuarial Studies with the degree of Bachelor of Science
Actuaries relate numbers to real life, and focus on risk management and protecting against loss. Scientific minds curious, enquiring and excited by discovery question the norm, asking and seeking answers to 'why?'. This double degree will give you a deeper understanding of the financial, mathematical, statistical and economic analysis needed in long-term financial management. It will also ensure you develop strong capabilities in a range of areas such as problem solving, research skills, creative thinking and communication.
This course is accredited by the Actuaries Institute. If you complete this double degree with grades of credit or above in the relevant units, you're eligible to apply for exemption from the corresponding Foundation level and the university component of the Associateship level professional examinations.

This rank has been converted into equivalent scores for various recognised international high school qualifications and university entrance examinations, including global qualifications like the International Baccalaureate (IB) and GCE A-Levels.
