A seaside campus, career-focused academic programs taught by faculty who truly care, and a close-knit community that's as spirited as it is supportive.
Discover Endicott, a four year co-educational, private college located on the oceanfront and just 20 miles north of Boston. Endicott students gain a career edge through required internships, learning through professional work experiences each year in Boston, throughout the United States, or in some cases around the world. Endicott students distinguish themselves by graduating with a degree and a resume.
Whether you have already made the decision to apply or you're visiting Endicott for the first time, we are delighted with your interest. Welcome to Endicott!
Our Admission staff travels throughout the Northeast and around the world to visit hundreds of secondary schools and college fairs. While we are in your area, we look forward to meeting you and discussing the value of the Endicott experience.
We have been named as a top institution for veterans, a designation that reflects our appreciation for active military members and veterans, along with their family members, for their service to our country. Visiting Endicott is more than seeing the campus and meeting our community. It's about getting a sense of what it's like to be a Gull and learning firsthand how Endicott leaves an indelible mark on all the students who pass through our doors.
Endicott College Grants are awarded annually to full-time students based on financial need with a merit component. Students must complete the FAFSA and Endicott Financial Aid Application every year in order to be eligible for Endicott Grants. Changes in residency will affect the amount awarded.
Endicott Presidential Academic, Presidential Art, and Health Sciences Scholarships are awarded by the Office of Admissions at the time of acceptance on the basis of merit. Renewal of these scholarships is guaranteed for four years if a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0 is maintained. Changes in residency will affect the amount awarded.
All other scholarships are awarded by the College each year to help deserving current students augment government and private financial assistance. Some of these scholarships will be selected by a committee and no application is required. Others require applications, notifications for which will be posted to our Scholarship Bulletin Board in April.
Federal Work-Study is a need-based financial aid program that is awarded by the Financial Aid Office. The majority of the positions at Endicott require that you have been awarded Federal Work-Study as part of your financial aid package. While we try to ensure that students who were awarded Federal Work-Study are able to obtain a position on campus, it is not guaranteed. All student employees are paid bi-weekly for the hours they work, and the wages are not applied to their tuition bills.
Our campus activities are pretty incredible. We're proud to offer more than 50 student clubs and organizations. From our annual Endicarnival to a plethora of academic clubs, there are many ways to get involved. Whether it's one afternoon working with Habitat for Humanity, or a weeklong Alternative Spring Break, our Community Service program has a variety of opportunities for volunteers with a range of interests.
Offering caring counseling services, an interfaith chapel, on-campus health and fitness centers, and a variety of student support services, Endicott is dedicated to helping you maintain your physical and emotional well-being. More than 90 percent of our students live on campus in our wide array of residential buildings, which range from traditional residence halls to converted mansions.
Endicott College was founded in 1939 on the belief that successful students "learn by doing." All Endicott students complete three distinct internships over the course of four years, gaining professional experience, building confidence, and making important industry contacts.
You will take an internship class your first semester focused on career preparation, professional skill building, and industry research. You will also have a chance to complete an internship your freshman year to gain experience and insight into working in your field.
As you begin shaping your career plan, we are here to help you assess your values, interests, and skills to make informed decisions about your future. Students and alumni have exclusive access to thousands of jobs and internships through our premier job search tool, Handshake. Get ahead by getting a mentor! Our alumni mentors impart professional knowledge and guidance for students embarking on careers.
Founded in 1939 and based on the idea that higher education should combine theory with practice, Endicott has grown from a graduating class of 20 in 1941, to more than 1,230 students receiving Associate's, Bachelors, Master's and Doctoral degrees in 2018.
Today, more than 2,850 traditional undergraduate students pursue degrees on the Beverly campus, and 2,300 students enroll in doctoral, graduate, and accelerated undergraduate programs through the Van Loan School at Endicott College. On the Beverly campus, at our academic center in Boston, and at sites across the region and around the world, students have come to embrace Endicott’s commitment to experiential learning, which combines theory with hands-on, career-related experience.
The campus, too, has grown. From the first purchase in 1939 of a handsome estate and Victorian mansion to accommodate both classrooms and living quarters to our current 235 acres and 56 buildings that include academic centers, residence halls, athletic facilities, an arts center, and state-of-the-art technology, today’s Endicott has continued to be a beautiful and supportive environment where students and faculty come together as a true community of learners.
