Emergency Response Plan For Gas Plant
Industry facilities that store, manufacture, transport, recycle or handle dangerous goods, hazardous wastes, or hazardous chemicals should prepare a response (contingency) plan to respond to emergencies involving the accidental release of these substances into the environment. Such facilities include, but are not limited to: waste landfills, recycling (plastics, tires, paint, pesticide, batteries) facilities, chemical and petroleum bulk storage or transportation facilities. The guidelines are intended for application by industry such as chemical, mining, metallurgical, oil and gas, petroleum, food and forest products. Although some sections of this document may be used by operators of small industries such as service stations, saw mills, fuel storage and other facilities, not all components of the document may be applicable or necessary.
