HSEIA is a systematic process of identifying HSE impacts of existing, new or substantially altered projects, and establishing mitigation requirements. This course starts by benchmarking the current activities and highlighting the potential exposure and significant HSE risk. Then look at the big picture, to see what changes can be made in the way you work and quantifying the positive impacts it will have on your business.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, the delegates will be able to:

  • Ensure that safety and health hazards and environmental impacts are identified, recorded and assessed environmental impacts and risks are managed
  • Ensure that suitable measures have been identified and the critical equipment, systems and activities are in place
  • Create prevention plan for major accidents and the HSE management system is inline and put into effect
  • Ensure that the on-site and off-site emergency plan is prepared ALARP for the hazards from the project activities is in place
