The most common curricula in Cairo are American, British, CISCE, Canadian, Egyptian, French, German, IB, IGCSE, Islamic, and MOE. There are Azharian Language Schools, Private Arabic Schools, Private Language Schools, and Schools for Girls in Cairo.

Lowest School Fees

Based on our study, the Abdullah Refaee Azhari Private Institutes has a maximum yearly tuition fee of 2500 EGP, making it the most affordable school in Cairo. This is followed by Al Bayan Azhari Private Language Institute (7100 EGP), Al Safa Azharian Language Institutes (11500 EGP), and Cairo British School – CBS (41400 EGP).

Highest School Fees

Meanwhile, the Cairo American College tops the list of the most expensive at a maximum 429,832 EGP (last year of study), followed by New Cairo British International School (260,545 EGP), and Schutz American School (254,855 EGP).

Total Cost of Study (14 Years)

Parents should prepare at least 768,650 EGP (International Schools of Egypt), for a total of 14 years of study, for private education in Cairo. The most expensive school can cost parents up to 2,928,000 EGP (Cairo American College) for the whole duration of their study.

Despite a locally-dominated population,Cairo offers diverse schooling options for students, in terms of curricula and types of schools. Cairo private schools offer the American, British, CICSE,  French, and German curricula, among others.
