NEBOSH International General Certificate

The NEBOSH International General Certificate is separated into the 3 Units. Unit NGC1, GC2 and a practical assessment, GC3. Once you finish the course and feel you are ready for the exams, we'll help and support you along the way. We'll ensure you are not alone during this process as we know it can be a bit stressful. Don't worry! We'll walk you through the process.

The Exam

The IGC1 and IGC2 exams are both 'written' exams where you come into an exam centre, such as ourselves. Each of these exams are two hours long and consist of 10 short answer questions and one long answer question. Written exams are held four per year on dates set by NEBOSH. The practical (IGC3) is a workplace risk assessment and management report. Don't worry though.....we don't come look over your shoulder nor does NEBOSH. What we will do though is give you guidance and support prior to your IGC3 submission to ensure you are confident and ready. It's part of what we do and is included in the price you pay for the course!

The Venue

For our overseas students, we can help arrange for your exams to be administered using the British Council network. We are the experts when it comes to arranging overseas exams!

The Marking

As other NEBOSH qualifications, the International General Certificate exams are assessed and marked by NEBOSH examiners. Once you have completed your exam papers, all the exams are then sealed and sent back to NEBOSH for rigorous marking, checking and results determination process to ensure maximum accuracy and consistency.

NEBOSH Exams

NEBOSH Exam fees are £110 for this course.  We can arrange your exams to be held at a British Council if you are overseas. We have excellent relationships with the British Councils across the globe and most of them will help with the exam process.

You will have up to two years to complete the course and exam process. Exams are held four times a year (March, June, September, and December) on dates set by NEBOSH. We will notify you each time the registration period opens up.
