Get hands-on training from AWS staff to deploy applications on the AWS platform. In this course, part of the AWS Developer Professional Series, you will learn how to use DevOps methodologies and tools. You will design and implement a secure development/staging/production workflow for your cloud-based infrastructure on AWS using tools such as AWS Cloud Formation and AWS Elastic Beanstalk. You will create a continuous integration-and-delivery pipeline using AWS Code Build, AWS Code Commit, and AWS Code Pipeline. You will monitor your environment with tools including AWS Config, AWS Service Catalog, and AWS Systems Manager. You will investigate application performance with services including Amazon Cloud Watch and create dashboards using Amazon Elastic search Service to gather and catalog performance metrics.This course will have a significant hands-on component. Throughout the class, you will perform exercises using the AWS services covered. The exercises will utilize the AWS Free Tier to minimize any costs associated with running your application.Class discussions will provide an opportunity for you to interact with fellow students as well as AWS training staff. When you have completed this class, you will be ready to continue on into the third course in this series, which will focus on application performance tuning, optimization, and security.
