NCFE Level 3 Assessor Award

This qualification is intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the workplace (for example a workshop, classroom or other training environments). Start dates available throughout the year.

Learners must complete 3 mandatory units worth 15 credits in total to achieve the NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement.

Qualification Structure

• Unit 1: Understanding Principles and Practices Assessment - 3 credits.
• Unit 2: Assess occupational competence in the work environment- 6 credits
• Unit 3: Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding - 6 credits

Eligibility / Requirements

Eligible learners must meet/hold one or more of the following criteria:

• These qualifications are designed for learners from aged 16 and above.
• A certificate/diploma in a relevant subject area.
• An equivalent professional qualification from a recognised institution.
• Mature students with a minimum of two years relevant work experience may be considered.
• IELTS or equivalent qualification is preferred but not essential.
• The provider will determine English Language ability if English is not your native language.
