Art Director (Digital and Integrated)

Job Summary

• The Art Director is a full-time position in the creative department. Requires superior aesthetic and design knowledge. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to visualize, design and execute advertising communications in harmony with the
• Copywriter in accordance with the brief and deadline. It also involves working efficiently with the Creative Studio, the Account Executives, and occasionally directly with the client.
• Should have a strong understanding of digital production and social media dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Highly collaborative art director who will work closely with copywriter, senior designers, and creative director.
• Responsible for conceptual and design work from ideation to completion.
• Presents internally and to clients as needed helping to map out campaign strategies and tactics, campaign ideas & directions to meet client objectives.
• Reports to the group creative director.

Skills

Required Skills & Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience in an advertising industry utilizing digital campaigns with a strong portfolio (with a focus on retail brands, digital activations, and promotional campaigns)
• BA or equivalent in a design/art-focused major.
• Creativity – seeks out-of-the-box ideas to have impactful campaigns
• Conceptual ability – develops concepts individually and as part of a team
• Artistic ability – uses his/her sense of style to develop layouts that look great and are aesthetically pleasing.
• Problem-solving skills – is brand-focused, strong in identifying needs and
  requirements of the client’s objectives
• Visualization skills – is good in design software with a strong sense of proportion and visual awareness.
• Attention to detail.
