Consultant – Portal Development

Job Summary

This role is for candidates with 7-10 years of experience in Portal and WCM development as primary. Resource should able to do Lead team s and do all the development works in WebSphere Portal and WCM. Also able to handle the Java and J2ee application.

Primarily Skills and experiences

• Must have 7-10 years of experience in WebSphere Portal and WCM development, WSRP, LDAP, SAML, SSO and Portlet security.
• Primary knowledge from Portal and WCM administration.
• Should have experience in Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, ORM, XML, Web Services, JNDI.
• Should have experience in spring, JSF, JPA and Strut frameworks
• Should have experience in JavaScript, Ajax, Jquery
• Should have min 3-4 years’ experience leading technical team
• Able to effectively assess operational inefficiencies identified operational issues and devised goals and plans to address them
• Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
• Set clear team goals
• Delegate tasks and set deadlines
• Oversee day-to-day operation
• Monitor team performance and report on metrics
• Motivate team members
• Discover training needs and provide coaching
• Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
• Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments

Secondary Skills and experiences

• Good to have the working experience in Angular JS Framework.
• Good to have the Search engine Knowledge (Ex. GSA, Portal)
• Good knowledge on data base Functions / Triggers / Procedures / Database jobs etc.
• Good knowledge on HTML design, CSS, Portal Theme development, Portal cache.
• Experience with logging, debugging, tracing and fix bugs.
• Social media integration, Mobile portal development.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Management Information System
