• Handling NCD and CP issuances including review & finalization of NCD documentation viz. Information Memorandum, Debenture Trust Deed and Security Creation involving liaison with various internal and external stakeholders
• Review & finalization of facility & security documentation pertaining to ECB and Working Capital Facility involving liaison with lenders and security trustee
• Handled prepayment of INR 6000 crore Rupee Term Loan (RTL) during financial restructuring wherein long term RTL was refinanced by issuing Non-Convertible Debentures (NCD) and Commercial Paper (CP)

Internal Audit & Internal Financial Controls experience

• Part of team carrying out first time implementation of Operating Effectiveness Testing of Internal Financial Controls (IFC) over Financial Reporting for FY 2015-16.
• Subsequently handled internal audit assignments of various verticals of L&T like heavy engineering, technology services, HR, F&A, logistics, etc. and spearheaded IFC OE Testing of L&T for FY 2016-17.

Taxation

Handled direct tax and indirect tax including Service Tax, VAT and Excise during articleship training. This included accounting, calculation of tax liability and filing of returns along with handling assessment officer level queries.

Significant Achievements

Won CFO Team award at L&T for financial restructuring of INR 6000 crore long term rupee debt into short term NCDs and CPs which resulted into reduction of finance costs by approx. 3% p.a.
