Welcome to Lahore School of Economics - a distinguished seat of learning known for high quality teaching and research. The Lahore School of Economics or “The Lahore School” was established in 1993 and chartered by the Government of Punjab in January 1997, through the Lahore School of Economics Act 1997 (Provincial Assembly of the Punjab- Act II of 1997).
The Lahore School's academic programmes encompass Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics, Environmental Sciences and Media Studies, Art and Design. The School offers both Graduate and Undergraduate programmes within specialized faculties, departments and research centres. With 135 full time faculty and 2700 graduate and undergraduate students, it is a leading academic institution of Pakistan.
The Lahore School of Economics has two campuses, i.e., The Main Campus and the City Campus. The Main Campus, spread over 35 acres, is located on the intersection of DHA Phase VI Main Boulevard and Burki Road. The City Campus is located in a quiet setting of Gulberg near the central Liberty Market area.

This institute is a very famous one because of its high merit and everyone cannot take admission here due the merit reason but if a student have studied from here then his education value is extremely wanted by every organization.

As been there for admission of my cousin on last day there was as long que for both male and female student and management was very rude and irresponsible even the head of admission was sitting in air-conditioned room and drinking water and tea in Ramadan.
All the students were misbehaved by staff and security personal.
I ended up having a argument with staff what were they not fully prepared to deal with such a large number of students as being a management Institution they were unable to mange their own admissions

I started my college life here, i can see how it is shaping to be one of the finest business schools in the country thanks to a quality faculty. college life sucks though.. Rarely any college events.
