Studying in London has been an extraordinary journey for my daughter; the dedicated staff have not only guided her academic pursuits but also inspired her to grow beyond her expectations.

God awful college, should've left as soon as, had to go here as my old college no longer had a HE course for photography. The front of the college looks well designed and well kept, as for my department (photography) looking absolutely cluttered and outdated, not to mention it's right at the back of the college making it a 10 minute walk from the front. The study area in the department is disgraceful, dull, and has barely any access to Mac computers in the department meaning you have to go all the way to the front to use IMacs unless you have a laptop of course. The teaching is disgraceful, teachers do not cooperate with you like a teacher should, barely anything positive to say about your work, and do not get to know you like most teachers would. The photography teacher is quiet and not a powerful lecturer at all, most people in the year have left because the teaching wasn't up to standards and neither where the facilities therefore there's only about 8 of us remaining whilst roughly three people come in a day. When I'd want to complain about the department all I heard was that doing the course at BDC is far cheaper and that I shouldn't pay for the same course elsewhere because it's expensive. also when I want to do work to reach deadlines I would get told I can't and that I have to stay in lesson, and then get a mouthful because my work isn't up to standards. BDC sort out your teaching standards and how teachers should make relations better with their students!

I attended the 'Access to science' course at B&D in 2013 which was so great and opened up so many opportunities. The tutors were supportive, helpful and, most importantly, passionate about their subjects and their profession. I loved the topics covered which provided a detailed knowledge on a broad range of subjects. The access course was demanding, as any other course, but you obtain in the end 2 GCSEs and A-levels equivalent which allow you to enter in your chosen degree. I am currently in final year of Podiatric medicine and would love to thank all the 'Access to science' tutors for providing me of such a great opportunity. Thanks.

Terrible college. The college appears as though it is a good college but is far from it. The college strips departments of funding while giving the sports department and other departments, which can be used to show of the college, are given funding. The management of the college is terrible. If you have any problems whatsoever then do not expect any help or advice whatsoever. Communication between departments is almost non-existent and this leads numerous problems throughout the college, such as teachers not being made aware of exams and work experience. Also if you wish to undertake an apprenticeship instead of university do not expect any support of information. Your teachers will make you feel as though you have to go to university and will not support you in your choice. Don't believe me? Look at the staff overturn that the college has.

It is a really good college, the teachers are nice, the environment of the college feels nice as well. I would recommend my friends to study here as they offer a huge range of courses which a lot of student would feel comfortable with to study...
