Sunderland College is a world class provider of education, with four campuses located across the city. We offer one of the region’s largest range of school leaver, adult and higher education courses as well as courses for international students. The quality of our education and the support we provide to our students is paramount to us. We pride ourselves on this and our success speaks for its self:
We have officially been recognised as good in our Ofsted inspection.
We have held a 99% pass rate for the past seven years and have an impressive number of students
For some, vision is simply the ability to see – to see what is already there. For Governors and the senior management team at Sunderland College, vision is seeing what is not there, and picturing what can be; imagining the future and knowing what we are capable of becoming. The 2014 -17 Strategic Plan summarises our vision for a dynamic and high performing college and sets out the strategic ambitions for Sunderland College for the next three years. It captures how we will continue to improve the experiences we provide for our stakeholders and partners, how we plan to be more responsive and engage more effectively with our target audiences. We aspire to being an outstanding and first choice provider with learners and employers, for all aspects of education and training within Sunderland, the North East and beyond.
Sunderland College’s commitment to Equality and Diversity is reflected in our core values and strategic ambitions. We make sure that everything we do helps:

Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
I studied at both the Shiney Row campus and Bede campus on the pre-access and access Diploma courses. It was a wonderful, empowering and liberating experience. Professional, highly knowledgeable and student focused lecturers.
Excellent experience and highly recommended.

It's a really good college. You probably aren't going to find a better college experience than here unless you're willing to travel for more than an hour per day.

I am a student at sunderland college.. I am 17 years of age and just completed my first year in construction level 1. It was an amazing experience and my lecturer was very organised in getting all the work done in time. We finished with time to spare because we did all the work as schedueled and now we are building garages in the college as practice for the start of next year.

The dedication of the faculty at this University has not only inspired my child but has also played a pivotal role in their impressive academic growth.
