With approximately 2,700 students from a variety of backgrounds, Newman is becoming an increasingly popular place to study. Newman is a different kind of university; we’re driven by the belief that higher education should enable learners to develop new ways of understanding the worlds, and help them make a positive impact within it. Our students become independent thinkers with ambition, empathy, and a lifelong love for learning. We’re a friendly community of staff and students, and our small class sizes mean that academic staff can give personal care and attention to each student. Reports frequently highlight the positive experience of students and individual attention offered by Newman’s staff.
Newman is working hard to create a sustainable campus and is utilising the latest technology to control energy consumption and achieve our carbon reduction targets by 2015. Newman is also committed to promoting the broader understanding and awareness of Fairtrade, poverty and the developing world. As a university we wish to broaden the global perspectives of the communities we work with, including its 400 partnership schools throughout the West Midlands. Achieving Fairtrade status reflects Newman’s mission which is based on respect for others, social justice and equity.

2018 Gradute. Avoid studying business in this university. The staff are not helpful and a lot of favouritism happens within the University. The business department has been complained for the past 2 years. Also, the head of department has been changed 3 times in last 2 years that shows how poor the university department is. I had horrible time here so I would not recommend anyone to study Business here. Facility wise, its a nice small university.

Worst university in the world, don't waste your time as most of administration from india i.e. Liane Sara Purnell and they don't know anything how to behave with students. You will regret getting admission here.

This university has given me so many opportunities not only in the way of my degree but my own business too. I would never have had these with another uni as here im not just a number but a person.

A tiny university with lovely staff people and its own Fitness Centre '#mostimportantfeature. Enough space for every student to be an individual, not a number within a crowd. Have a look- you will agree :) Highly recommendet!!

Excellent University! I really enjoyed my time studying there. The staff were very helpful and inspiring. The lecturers knew how to provide us with information and help you as much as they can, also I felt safe and looked after during my time there. I wouldn't chose any other University for me it's the best. Thank you Newman University.

All staff and students are friendly and welcoming; the support systems in place ensure that all students have someone to visit and talk to if any problems occur, and staff possess excellent capacities of knowledge and are experts within their subject fields.
