Northbrook was formed from the West Sussex College of Art & Design (founded 1912), when it merged with the Chelsea College of Aeronautical and Automobile Engineering and Worthing College of Technology in 1986. Northbrook remains the biggest provider in West Sussex of undergraduate degrees for the creative and cultural industries, as well as being a long-established specialist in automotive engineering.

Northbrook's courses are industry led, with an emphasis on employability, enterprise and entrepreneurship. Many of the lecturing staff are practitioners with current links to the creative industries. Courses include live projects and work placements and many have the endorsement of professional bodies.

Students benefit from the personalised academic and pastoral support offered by a relatively small institution. The College provides individual support through small group teaching, personal tutors and generous contact teaching hours per week.

Northbrook College Sussex has been a transformative experience for my child; the dedicated staff and rich educational resources have sparked remarkable growth and confidence.

Don't go to this college if u want to do anything other than games development or music, the other courses are bad, best games development course in the country..

Great facilities, teachers and courses. The new music department is incredible and very professional. The theatre and theatre courses are also professional and of exceptional quality.

I moved colleges to be treated with respect and I wasn't. I feel appauled at how little I was respected by staff and how little certain other students were too. Certain teachers need to learn that you can't be bias and that other people have feelings. Wouldn't recommend this college to anybody.

Started my cooking corse here. First year here, after leaving school I knew everything they had to teach.. so simple, went on further for the second year, they started giving us frozen ready made food you could buy from Iceland!(frozen ready made quiches, sausages pizzas etc. 'which WE SHOULD HAVE LEARNED FROM SCRATCH' )We just opened the packaging and read the time stated And this was to give to PRIVATE conferences outside of the college! Disappointed with the time I wasted there and left halfway through the year. Don't waste your time. Glad I left.

This is the WORST college ever. Staff are rude and unhelpful, course was very unorganised. Save your money and go somewhere else...

If you're thinking of doing any art related subject, I seriously recommend Northbrook College, the teachers are fantastic! The courses are exciting and you learn so many new art techniques.
