Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
Overall my experience of studying at the university was awful, lecturers or seminar leaders were often not able to speak English clearly and would not put the recordings up on Moodle as they had been told. Often there were no seats in lectures either. I am a student with numerous disabilities and I received no support from the university my stress and eating got so bad that I ended up getting worse anxiety and depression here and I had shingles because of my stress.
I would not recommend the university of kent halls if you want to make loads of freinds at the university halls are so small. I couldn't make any freinds as there was no social area or kitchen so I ended up being alone on Freshers and socially isolated the rest of the time I was here.
I really regret my time spent here , I feel like I wasted a lot of money .

I did my work experience at the University of Kent in Canterbury for one week. The staff that I have worked with, were really friendly with me and learned how to communicate with me by looking face to face
It is really a fantastic experience. I hope to come back again next year if I am doing level 3 ...
Thank you for having me around :)

Attended for an Open day with our daughter. Very impressed. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Facilities and accommodation looked great. Lovely campus and great location.

teachers don't speak english, teaching is diabolical e.g. can't read the teachers handwriting, can't see the board because too far back, teachers don't explain anything properly & accommodation office staff are well known for having no soul.

Fantastic University shaped me into the person I am today and helped me get a phenomenal degree without a doubt one of the UK's best universities and punches well above its weight!

I had an amazing experience at UKC, the atmosphere was great, the vast diversity of students and teaching staff was encouraging. the library and facilities are definitely top notch.

Really regretted going there and gladly left. Pompous, pretentious and teaching is average, at least at my department which I'm not going to name because of respect. I find my whole year very disappointing, from the lack of pastoral care to the lack of qualifications of certain lecturers who are bluntly discouraged as to how much they have to teach. Only when its close to rating them they turn interested in you. I left now and I'm at a better Uni and have felt relaxed and happy there. Kent is a lot of show but once you get in you realise that it's not what it claimed to be. Sorry that is my experience.

Amazing University! I had the best time here during my Junior Year abroad, studying and meeting people from all over the world. University's student body was so diverse and interesting. Being here also allowed me to travel all over Europe. So many fond memories of Kent!

Great university with a fantastic campus, perfect for foreign students who leave home for the first time; it is very safe, it's got a nice atmosphere with a strong sense of place. Staff is very helpfull and kind...Amazing place for learning. There are shops, a theatre and even a club on campus, everything you need when you live in the halls. On top of that, there are stunning views of the cathedral and countryside, squirrels, bunnies and ducklings!
