We are seeking applications for a teacher educator to work in the Bachelor of Education (primary) programme. This is a fixed-term position to support the delivery of School of Education programmes across all three of AUT’s campuses. Applicants should state their interest and experience in primary school specialist curriculum areas, as well as knowledge of the disciplines of sociology, psychology and philosophy in the field of education.
Applicants who have a doctoral qualification, are research-active, and willing to make a significant contribution to the academic community of the School will be preferred. Please note that teacher registration with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand will be essential as this position includes visiting students on practicum experiences. The successful applicants will be required to work across the School of Education’s programmes at the North Shore, City and South campuses.
