The University of Winnipeg Community Renewal Corporation, a not-for-profit charitable corporation, spearheads and manages campus development. UWCRC is guided by a four pillared concept of sustainability (environmental, social, economic and cultural) and actively develops partnerships with community, private and public sector organizations.

From 2005 to 2015, The University of Winnipeg has been responsible for investing more than $200 million in facility construction and renovation in our downtown and West End neighbourhoods. In just over a decade, enrolment has increased by 55%, with approximately 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students attending classes. Several thousand more students take English language and professional development programs on our campus, making UWinnipeg the single largest educational centre downtown.

The University of Winnipeg Foundation is a registered and incorporated charitable public foundation dedicated to fundraising and asset stewardship in support of the University's mission and vision. To strengthen, deepen, and advance The University of Winnipeg. To create a long-term income stream to meet the Vision. With your help, the Foundation will build legacies for The University of Winnipeg, enabling the University to better meet the needs and inspire the dreams of students, creating limitless possibilities for the future.

The Foundation is committed to fostering trust and accountability with our supporters and partners. Under the leadership and guidance of UWinnipeg’'s new President, Dr. Annette Trimbee, and our dedicated all-volunteer Board of Directors, the Foundation will continue to work on behalf of the University and its students to increase capacity and stability. The Foundation strives to be innovative and responsive in our fundraising endeavors. From our new crowdfunding initiative to our Student Calling Program, we are fostering connections while upholding the University’s commitment to sustainability with tremendous success.

UWinnipeg is located in downtown Winnipeg, on Treaty One territory in the heart of the Métis homeland. UWinnipeg is a medium-sized university with approximately 10,000 full- and part-time students.  UWinnipeg is known for academic and research excellence, its commitment to sustainability, -- having exceeded Kyoto targets by reducing GHG emissions ten per cent below 1990 levels, and Indigenous scholarship. UWinnipeg is committed to implementing recommendations from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and integrating Indigenous perspectives and knowledge within the academy; and working with the surrounding community to encourage and support inner-city children in developing a university-bound identity. Dr. Trimbee's key accomplishments to date include completing a university-wide strategic directions plan, introduction of a three-year budget strategy, and implementation of an Indigenous Course Requirement for all undergraduate students, among the first in Canada.

A damn shame university doesn't know better, they are poisoning every living bird within their distance. Every bird that had been poisoned took at least 4 hours of excruciating pain and seizures till their little hearts finally stopped Shame on you, damn psychopaths and savages that are allowing this .. How date birds live around this university

As of late, there are an increasing number of news stories involving violence against students by non-students of the university. This review is not on the quality of the education offered, but the quality of the student experience.

It's alright. Lol don't listen to the bad comments until you attend. Then you can judge the place

After a hiatus from schooling for several years, I pleased to find that faculty we always open to answer questions either during class; after class; via email; or during their office hours! Looking forward to the Fall Semester!
