Principal Lecturer (information technology)

Job Summary

Centria University of Applied Sciences is looking for a principal lecturer for our information technology degree programme. The principal lecturer develops the teaching and the methods of the information technology degree programme. The principal lecturer cooperates actively with various actors and companies both locally and internationally in the field of IT. The teaching will be organized mainly in English with multiform methods. The job may also include tasks in different research and development projects.

The requirements of the position are:

• Strong practical experience of the software development.
• Academic research experience in the field of software engineering and/or information technology
• Strong written & spoken English language skills are mandatory
• The eagerness to develop own and the organization’s expertise
• Postgraduate degree and pedagogical competence or willingness to complete the pedagogical studies.
