Teacher of Secondary School Science

Job Summary

Responsibilities:

• Teach MYP Science including MYP Physics in Middle School and a DP Specialist Science Subject.
• Communicate and meet with parents
• Provide in-class student support
• Record and share with parents assessment data at regular intervals during the school year
• Collaborate with colleagues from within and outside of the department
• Engage in Professional Development
• Participate in departmental and other meetings as needed

Qualifications:

Applicants must have suitable subject and teaching qualifications. Experience teaching the IB MYP and a DP Specialist Science Subject is desired. Training in current methodology in the teaching of both native-speakers and second-language learners at the Secondary level would be advantageous.
