English Language

Brighter Prep English Language course has 6 progressive levels (Beginner, Elementary, Pre - Intermediate - Intermediate - Upper Intermediate and Advanced). This course is suitable for people who want to improve their spoken as well as written English and score highly on the IELTS or TOEFL test in the future. There will be 8 Units in each level and a progress test will be conducted after every 2 units. At the end of each level, students will take a Final exam to get the KHDA attested certificate. Each Level is a combination of five main components that will be covered during each session. Below is a breakdown of each 120 minute-session.

Very important information before you start the course:

• There will be 15 sessions of 120 minutes (2 hours) each per level without any breaks.
• There will be 8 Unit tests and 1 final test in each level.
• The Final Test will be 120 minutes (2 hours) long.
• If any student fails the final test, he or she will be allowed to repeat the test within 15 days of the final test result date.

Students can only repeat the test once without repeating the course. If a student fails to score 70% on the second attempt, that student will have to repeat the same level. To avoid such a situation, we will administer 8 Unit tests during the course to make sure all our students progress and pass the final test. Teachers are very helpful so feel free to ask questions whenever you face any problems.

Students must pass the final test to receive the KHDA-attested Brighter Prep English Course Certificate and move to another level.

Brighter Prep English Course Timeline

• Step One – Meet the counselor to understand course content, session plans and the services offered by Brighter prep
• Step Two – Take the Diagnostic test to determine your level
• Step Three – Decide which package you would like to purchase
• Step Four – Complete the registration form. Apart from your fee, we will need 2 passport-sized photographs and a copy of your Passport or Emirates ID (We need these documents to process the KHDA attested Certificate)
• Step Five – Obtain a schedule from the course manager and get ready to start your course
