Founded in 1836, BCS has a long history of preparing students from grades 7 to 12 for university and beyond. Our core values (Lead, Grow, Engage, Experience, Explore) shape the students' personal and academic journeys. We learn together in a diverse and inclusive community, where each individual contributes to the BCS family. Our teachers don't just teach–they inspire. Our students don't just study—they challenge themselves, expanding their horizons and excelling in ways they never imagined before arriving here. Students have countless opportunities to engage in hands-on learning experiences and blossom into the world’s next generation of leaders.

We wanted to ensure that we provided the best possible student experience, effective health and safety measures, proficient communication, and peace of mind to our families. A year later, We are pleased to say that we have succeeded. The BCS community rallied like never before. We are all stronger because of the challenges that we have faced. We are a better school because we bonded together and provided the support needed both personally and collectively. The secret to our success has been the people within our community: our dedicated faculty, staff, and administration, trusting parents, tireless volunteers, supportive alumni, and, of course, our wonderful students.

We pride ourselves on our inclusive community that welcomes members of all backgrounds. The exchanges that take place on a daily basis allow both our students and adults to learn from one another, exploring each other’s traditions, values, languages, and beliefs and expanding their capacity for compassion and understanding.

As we turn our attention to the upcoming school year, we approach it with excitement and anticipation because we are confident that the virus will be further under control and that vaccinations will offer us greater freedoms and flexibility. We can guarantee that, just as we did this year, BCS will provide the best possible education and life experience for all our students.
