Pepperdine is a Christian university committed to the highest standards of academic excellence and Christian values, where students are strengthened for lives of purpose, service, and leadership.

Pepperdine University will be a preeminent, global, Christian university, known for the integration of faith and learning, whose graduates lead purposeful lives as servant-minded leaders throughout the world.

Our vision statement declares what we intend to become. George Pepperdine envisioned an institution that would transform students' lives so that they would, in turn, impact culture. He imagined a vast body of alumni—men and women conscious of their good fortune, recipients of the generous gift of a Christian education—who would feel the moral imperative to serve others sacrificially. Hence, the school's motto: "Freely ye received, freely give" (Matthew 10:8).

Pepperdine University has top-ranked programs for graduate and undergraduate studies, with separate schools dedicated to business, education and psychology, law, liberal arts, and public policy. Over 84% of our students get hands-on experience through student employment, student teaching, and internships.

The education my child is receiving in California is nothing short of transformative, with dedicated staff who truly care, inspiring remarkable growth and confidence in their students.

I'm a current student in the Graduate School of Education & Psychology, pursing my Doctorate in Organizational Leadership. I can say first hand that I truly love the school, the program, and the experience. In addition, it's a great fit for my lifestyle since I can still continue to work while pursuing my doctorate. Also, the traditional classroom experience has been much more enjoyable than any program that offers more of an e-learning component. I am building lifelong relationships with the small classroom setting (20-25/class). The professors are amazing and I'm learning more than I even anticipated. It's a great school for networking and worth the investment!

graduated from Pepperdine in 2006... Thanks to Pepperdine I've met people and gained the educational foundation to realize the maximum potential in my life! I've traveled the world (through the study abroad opportunities and my due to my career after graduating), met some of the coolest people ever, and got to live near the beach in Malibu! For an all-around A+ university, go to Pepperdine. You won't be sorry!
